Season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show premiered on Netflix with much fanfare, featuring Salman Khan as the guest promoting his film Sikandar. The opening episode garnered impressive numbers, ranking 7th in the Global Top 10 Non-English Shows category with 1.6 million views and 1.9 million viewing hours. This surpassed the Season 2 premiere with Alia Bhatt but fell short of Season 1’s debut episode featuring Ranbir Kapoor, which had 2.4 million views.

Since the initial episode, however, viewership has seen a steady decline. The second episode, featuring the cast of Metro In Dino, delivered a cumulative 2 million views and 4.5 million viewing hours across the first two episodes. The third episode, which included cricketers Gautam Gambhir, Rishabh Pant, and Yuzvendra Chahal, recorded a further dip with 1.2 million cumulative views and 3.7 million viewing hours.
Despite the downward trend in viewership, The Great Indian Kapil Show remains a prominent platform for celebrity promotions and is the only Indian show consistently featured in Netflix’s Top 10. Upcoming episodes are set to include notable guests such as Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma, Pratik Gandhi, and Jitendra Kumar. Since its debut in 2024, the show has released two seasons with 13 episodes each, maintaining a strong presence in the Indian entertainment space.
