Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the national capital on Sunday due to stomach-related issues. According to an official statement from the hospital, she is currently under observation in the gastroenterology department.

Prior to this, Sonia Gandhi had been admitted to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, on June 7 for a routine health check-up. Naresh Chauhan, Principal Advisor (Media) to the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, had stated that the visit was due to minor health concerns.
Doctors attending to her in both instances have confirmed that her condition remains stable. Medical assessments are ongoing, and she continues to receive necessary care and monitoring.
