In early June 2025, Bollywood Hungama first reported that Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films was considering postponing the release of his upcoming romantic drama, Param Sundari, from July 25 to August 29. As the original release date approached without any promotional activity, it became evident that the Sidharth Malhotra-Janhvi Kapoor starrer would not hit theaters as planned. Yesterday, Maddock Films officially confirmed the delay in a unique manner by attaching the updated Param Sundari teaser with the prints of Maalik, which released on July 11. The revised teaser replaced “This July” with “This August,” removing the specific July 25 date and instead stating “In cinemas worldwide this August.

”This change has sparked speculation about the exact release date of Param Sundari. According to a trade insider, August 29 is the likely date, as it fits the calendar without clashing with major releases like War 2 and Coolie, which have already secured the earlier August slots. The source noted that if the film were set for August 1, promotional and distribution activities would have likely begun by now, which they have not. While waiting for an official announcement, the industry seems to anticipate the film’s release at the end of the month.
Alongside Param Sundari, audiences watching Maalik also got a glimpse of the teaser for Baby Do Die Do, produced by Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem under the Saleem Siblings banner. The one-minute teaser highlights Huma Qureshi’s character as the “1st desi female assassin” and includes Sikandar Kher’s voiceover. The teaser concludes with the tagline “Badi story, badi screen pe, coming soon, baby!” Recently, Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem shared on Instagram that the Baby Do Die Do teaser is currently exclusive to cinema screenings, with the first 5,000 fans joining their broadcast channel gaining early digital access before the wider release.
