The much-anticipated trailer of Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri and starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has been released on YRF’s YouTube channel. In the over two-minute video, Ahaan plays Krish Kapoor, an aspiring singer, while Aneet portrays a songwriter who crafts lyrics for his character. The trailer showcases their journey as they meet, spend time together, and fall in love, capturing moments of joy and connection.
However, the story takes a dramatic turn when Aneet’s character threatens a distressed Krish with a knife, asking him to leave an event. This moment marks a shift in Krish’s personality, revealing his heartbreak and anger. Varun Badola, playing Krish’s father, offers him a heartfelt warning: “Apne pyaar ke liye na khud ko khatam mat kar lena” (Don’t end your life for your love). The trailer also hints at complexities in their relationship, showing Aneet’s character getting married.
Produced by Yash Raj Films CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara is set to release in theatres on July 19. Ahaan Panday, who was trained and groomed by Aditya Chopra at YRF for over six years, was introduced to director Mohit Suri through auditions and screen tests before signing on for the film. The trailer was shared with the caption highlighting the film’s portrayal of flawed yet pure love stories that heal the heart.
