Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar praised Mohammed Siraj for his outstanding performance against England in the first innings of the Edgbaston Test. Leading the Indian bowling attack in Jasprit Bumrah’s absence, Siraj delivered a commanding six-wicket haul, dismantling the English batting lineup with disciplined and effective bowling on a flat track.

Tendulkar emphasized Siraj’s improved accuracy and consistency, noting how these qualities have played a crucial role in his success. He highlighted Siraj’s ability to consistently land the ball in the right areas, which troubled the English batsmen throughout the innings.

“The biggest change I’ve noticed in Siraj has been his accuracy and consistency in landing the ball in the right areas. His persistence has been rewarded with six wickets. He was very ably supported by Akash Deep as well. Well done!” Tendulkar wrote on X.
