At the London premiere of Heads of State, Priyanka Chopra expressed admiration for the action work of Akshay Kumar and Tom Cruise. After her acclaimed role in Citadel, Priyanka is set to showcase her action skills once again in Heads of State. During an interview with India Today, she praised both actors for their impressive stunts but admitted she lacks the courage to perform similar high-risk feats. “I love what Tom Cruise and Akshay Kumar do. They’re really good at that, but I don’t think I have the courage to hang off a plane that’s taking off or do that kind of stuff,” she said.

Priyanka also shared her enthusiasm for being part of large-scale productions while acknowledging the vital role of stunt teams in action films. “I do love being a part of big mega movies. We do stand on the shoulders of so many people – there’s a massive stunt team that made me do all the things that I did. There are wires, mats and lots of it. So, it is the magic of the movies,” she explained. Both Tom Cruise and Akshay Kumar are renowned for performing their own daring stunts, often pushing the boundaries in Hollywood and Bollywood alike.
Heads of State, an American action comedy directed by Ilya Naishuller, stars Priyanka Chopra alongside Idris Elba, John Cena, and others. Priyanka plays MI6 agent Noel Bisset, who embarks on a mission to uncover a global conspiracy. The film is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on July 2.
