Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, who got married in 2024, have mostly stayed away from the limelight since their wedding. The couple was all set to make a rare joint appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, but the shoot had to be stopped midway due to a sudden health scare. According to IANS, Raghav’s mother, who was present on set, began feeling unwell and started shivering unexpectedly. She was immediately taken to a hospital for medical attention, and the filming was halted.
The episode was supposed to be a special one, marking Parineeti and Raghav’s first television appearance together. However, due to the emergency, the production team now plans to reschedule the shoot once things settle down. There hasn’t been an official update on Raghav’s mother’s condition yet.
Parineeti, who was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila, has been keeping a relatively low profile. She will next be seen in a new Netflix series, which has already completed filming. While the title and release date are still under wraps, the show features an impressive cast including Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jennifer Winget, Harleen Sethi, and Sumeet Vyas.
