Nora Fatehi Slams Trolls Over World Peace Appeal

Actor and dancer Nora Fatehi has strongly responded to online criticism after urging peace amid the escalating US-Iran conflict. The star recently shared a video addressing rising tensions in the Middle East and called for unity during uncertain times. While assuring fans that she is safe and currently in India, she emphasised the importance of compassion and togetherness. However, her message sparked backlash on social media, prompting her to clarify her stance.

‘Morally Something’s Wrong With You’: Nora Hits Back

On Instagram Stories, Nora wished fans a happy Holi before addressing the trolls. She said many people lack listening and comprehension skills, especially in the age of social media. Furthermore, she maintained that her appeal was general and not directed at any specific country. “If you have a problem with someone speaking about peace and unity, you need to check yourself. Morally, something’s wrong,” she stated. She added that society feels exhausted by repeated global crises and chaos. Therefore, she believes advocating peace should not trigger negativity.

Reiterates Commitment to Unity and Compassion

Moreover, Nora reaffirmed that she will always stand for world peace. Reflecting during her prayers, she expressed concern that even calls for harmony now invite anger. She described that reaction as “scary” and stressed that no criticism would intimidate her. Earlier, she had observed that constant global unrest leaves people emotionally drained. As a result, she urged followers to stay grounded and compassionate despite circumstances beyond individual control.

Conflict Escalation and Regional Impact

Meanwhile, tensions in West Asia intensified after military operations by the United States and Israel targeted Iran, reportedly causing heavy casualties among political and military leaders. Iran retaliated by striking US bases in the region. Consequently, flight operations in Dubai and other cities faced disruptions, leaving travellers stranded. However, authorities have since evacuated Indian nationals from affected areas. Against this backdrop, Nora’s appeal for peace has gained wider attention, highlighting how global conflicts increasingly intersect with public voices and social media debate.
