A special budget of ₹27,147 crore has been allocated for women’s welfare, including ₹18,699 crore dedicated to the Ladli Behna scheme. Additionally, Yadav noted that over 9,000 tribal families have been granted land rights under the Forest Rights Act, reinforcing the government’s commitment to tribal welfare. He also promised a 33% reservation for women in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

The Ladli Behna Yojana, launched on June 10, 2023, by then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, initially provided ₹1,000 monthly aid, which was gradually increased to ₹1,250. Alongside this, the Ladli Laxmi Yojana has benefited around 51 lakh girls, distributing a total of ₹672 crore in assistance, further supporting the empowerment of women and girls across the state.
