Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata Praises India, Expresses Desire to Act in Bollywood Films
Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata, who made history as the first Thai woman to win the prestigious crown, has expressed her admiration for India and her interest in working in Hindi cinema. Speaking during her visit to Hyderabad, the global beauty queen said, “If I get the opportunity, I would love to act in Bollywood films; it’s a wonderful opportunity.” Her statement has sparked excitement among fans and film industry insiders, as international stars continue to show growing interest in Bollywood.

Reflecting on her India experience, Opal was full of praise. “It was amazing. Since the first day I was here, everyone has been so nice. People are amazing and have been so wonderful to me,” she said. The Miss World winner also appreciated the scenic beauty and cultural richness of the places she visited, calling India’s infrastructure and nature “so beautiful.” She confirmed she would “definitely be back,” highlighting the strong connection she feels with the country.
Opal extended her heartfelt thanks to the Telangana government for their hospitality, saying, “Thank you for providing us with the best accommodation and allowing us to have such a great time in your home.” Her appreciation underscored the successful hosting of the Miss World 2025 event in Hyderabad, which received praise from many international delegates.

Miss World America 2025, Jessica Pedroso, also applauded Hyderabad as an ideal host city. She expressed her love for Indian culture, cuisine, and the warmth of the people, even singling out butter chicken as “so amazing.” Meanwhile, India’s Nandini Gupta, who had made it to the Top 40 and was among the fast-tracked Top 18 contestants, unfortunately missed a spot in the Top 8, ending the nation’s hopes for the crown this year.
