Comedian Kapil Sharma’s café, Kap’s Café, in Surrey, Canada, was attacked for the second time in a month, with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claiming responsibility. The fresh attack and threats have heightened tensions, as the gang warns Bollywood actors against working with Salman Khan.

An audio recording reveals Harry Boxer, a member of the Bishnoi gang, openly admitting to the shooting. He said Kapil Sharma was targeted because of his association with Salman Khan, whom the gang calls their “arch-enemy.” Boxer warned that any Bollywood actor, filmmaker, or producer working with Salman Khan would face serious consequences, even threatening to use an AK-47 next time.
The gang also threatened to disrupt Mumbai’s entertainment industry, creating fear among celebrities. Boxer ended the message with religious slogans, emphasizing their resolve.
Kap’s Café was first attacked on July 8, and the second attack took place exactly a month later on August 7. The gang stated that Kapil had ignored their warnings. Security footage from the latest incident shows an armed man firing multiple shots, shattering windows, but fortunately, no one was injured.
Kapil Sharma has not yet responded to the attacks or threats. These incidents have raised concerns about the safety of Indian celebrities abroad amid the gang’s warnings to the film industry.
