Indira Krishnan, who will portray Kaushalya in the upcoming mythological film Ramayana, recently shared her admiration for Ranbir Kapoor’s extraordinary transformation into Lord Ram. Having worked with him before in Animal, where she played his mother-in-law, she was amazed by how different his approach was this time. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, she highlighted his intense dedication and meticulous preparation. Ranbir not only focused on his physical appearance but also worked hard on his eyes, posture, and overall presence to embody the divine character. She revealed that he would spend 3-4 hours daily working out, often arriving early on set by 7 a.m., and would discuss his workout routines after shooting. Indira emphasized that his commitment was “200 percent,” and the difference in his body language and demeanor was remarkable.

She recalled being stunned when she first saw him in Lord Ram’s avatar during a scene involving a sandalwood ceremony. His calm, composed stance and the ease with which he carried himself showcased his dedication and discipline. Indira noted that the contrast between his gritty role in Animal and the divine persona in Ramayana was striking. She believes Ranbir’s transformation is a testament to his hard work and focus on delivering an authentic portrayal of Lord Ram in this epic film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
