An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Imphal was forced to return to Delhi shortly after takeoff on Thursday due to a minor technical issue. The pilots detected the snag soon after the flight departed and, following safety protocols, decided to turn back as a precaution. The aircraft landed safely at Indira Gandhi International Airport without any complications.
After landing, the plane underwent thorough checks in accordance with mandatory procedures. Once the necessary inspections were completed and the issue was resolved, the flight resumed its journey to Imphal. This event comes just days after another IndiGo flight from Delhi to Goa had to make an emergency landing in Mumbai due to an engine issue mid-air. In both situations, the airline responded quickly and efficiently to ensure passenger safety, with no reported injuries in either case.
