Late Thursday night, a tragic incident took place in Delhi’s Jangpura area where Asif Qureshi, cousin of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, was fatally attacked following a parking dispute. Around 10:30 to 11:00 pm near Bhogal Market Lane, Asif confronted his neighbor about a scooter parked in front of his gate. What started as a simple request quickly escalated into a heated argument.
According to the police, the neighbor, 19-year-old Ujjwal, along with another local youth named Gautam, 18, attacked Asif with a sharp object. CCTV footage shows the two men dragging and assaulting Asif, causing serious injuries. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Asif was declared dead on arrival.
Asif’s wife claimed that the attack was deliberate and part of a conspiracy, mentioning that there had been previous disagreements between Asif and the accused. The Hazrat Nizamuddin police have registered a murder case and arrested both suspects.
The investigation is ongoing to uncover more details and determine if others were involved in planning or carrying out the attack. This unfortunate incident has shocked the community and raised concerns about escalating violence over minor disputes.
