Just two weeks earlier, Dharmendra had been brought home after being discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where he was admitted due to health complications. Dr Pratit Samdani had confirmed his release and shared that the family was taking care of him at home, hoping for a smooth recovery. During this period, several major Bollywood celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, visited the veteran actor to check on his health.

Days after his discharge, an emotional Sunny Deol was seen confronting photographers gathered outside their residence. Overwhelmed by the situation, he urged them to show sensitivity, saying, “Aap logon ko sharam aani chahiye… Aapke ghar mein maa-baap hain, bachche hain…” His reaction reflected the family’s distress as Dharmendra’s condition remained delicate.

Fondly known as the “He-Man of Bollywood,” Dharmendra leaves behind a remarkable film legacy spanning more than six decades. He was also set to appear in the upcoming war drama Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda.
