Delhi Horror: Woman Killed by Boyfriend, Body Hidden in Bed Box at PG
A 35-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her 22-year-old boyfriend at a paying guest (PG) accommodation in outer Delhi’s Mangolpuri, police said on Wednesday. The accused reportedly hid her body inside a double bed storage box after killing her. The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon, and the body was found later in the evening.
Accused Confesses After Heated Argument
Senior police officers said the accused confessed that he killed the woman in anger after she refused to be physically intimate with his uncle and the uncle’s friend. According to investigators, he pinned her to the floor and injured her forehead. He then smothered her with a blanket and strangled her inside the room.

Uncle and Friend Held for Assisting the Crime
Police also arrested the accused’s 50-year-old uncle and the uncle’s 52-year-old friend. Officers said both men helped the accused during the crime and later assisted him in fleeing. Moreover, investigators claimed they stood guard outside the room while the murder took place. Afterward, they helped him escape after he hid the body in the bed box.
PG Owner Alerts Police After Finding Body
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Vikram Singh said Mangolpuri police received a call around 7 pm on Tuesday. The caller reported a woman’s body inside a bed box in a room near Patthar Market. The PG owner told police that the accused had asked for access to his room for a few hours. However, when the owner returned, he found the room unlocked and the accused missing. Soon after, he noticed a leg sticking out from the bed box and immediately informed police.
Police identified the victim as a Mangolpuri resident who worked as a domestic help. She was married and had three children. Meanwhile, police registered a case under sections 103 (murder) and 238 (causing disappearance of evidence) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
