Son Of Sardaar 2 is set to release on Friday, August 1, after being postponed from July 25 due to the strong performance of Saiyaara. The makers completed the censor process early but delayed the release to avoid clashing with the other film’s success.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) did not cut any action scenes but requested changes in four dialogues. References to China’s President Xi Jinping were removed, “item” was changed to “madam,” and two other lines were altered to be more appropriate. After these edits, the film received a U/A certificate.
The movie, starring Ajay Devgn alongside Mrunal Thakur and others, runs for about 2 hours and 27 minutes. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and produced by Devgn Films and Jio Studios, it promises to be a comedy with a strong cast and engaging story.
