Saiyaara is proving to be a major box office success, breaking the usual pattern of weekday slowdowns. Monday morning shows across cities like Mumbai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru saw unexpectedly high occupancy, with some early shows nearly sold out. Even in smaller towns like Purnia, Bihar, advance bookings were strong, showing the film’s wide appeal and strong word of mouth.

In a surprising move, Yash Raj Films decided to offer discounted tickets on Tuesday Rs. 149 or 199 even though most successful films usually skip this deal to maintain higher earnings. Though the lowest Rs. 99 front-row pricing won’t apply, trade experts have praised YRF for keeping ticket prices accessible. They also noted that Saiyaara would have done well regardless, as fans are eager to watch it without delay.

Thanks to this pricing strategy and immense buzz, the film is expected to post double-digit collections on both Monday and Tuesday. Experts believe Saiyaara might even avoid the usual midweek drop, which is rare. The strong weekday footfall has reminded many theatre managers of the pre-pandemic era, marking Saiyaara as a true crowd-puller.
