Border 2 continues its impressive run at the Indian box office. On Wednesday, the film earned over ₹10 crore. As a result, its total domestic net collection reached ₹210.52 crore, according to Sacnilk. Since its release, the war drama has maintained steady momentum. Moreover, positive audience response has supported strong footfalls across theatres.
Day-Wise Earnings Show Rising Momentum
The film opened with ₹30 crore on day one from more than 6,000 shows. Initially, occupancy stood at 37%. However, collections improved on day two as the film earned ₹36.50 crore. At the same time, audience turnout increased in multiplexes. By day three, Border 2 collected ₹54.50 crore. Consequently, average occupancy crossed 62%, highlighting strong word of mouth.

Republic Day Holiday Delivers Major Push
Furthermore, the Republic Day holiday gave the film a significant boost. On day four, Border 2 earned ₹59 crore. Meanwhile, occupancy peaked across mass belts and metros. However, collections dipped on day five to ₹20 crore. Even so, the film held firm. On day six, it added ₹10.52 crore nett, keeping the overall trend positive.
About the Film
Border 2 is the sequel to the 1997 blockbuster Border. Director Anurag Singh sets the story against the 1971 India-Pakistan war. In addition, the film stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty. It is produced by T-Series and JP Films. Although the film did not release in several Gulf countries, its domestic performance has already sealed its blockbuster status.
