Once a symbol of Vijay Mallya’s lavish lifestyle, Goa’s iconic Kingfisher Villa has found new owners in Bollywood actor Sachiin Joshi and his wife, former actress Urvashi Sharma. Now rebranded as King’s Mansion, the luxurious property located on Candolim Beach has been given a new lease on life. Known for its opulence and celebrity-filled parties, the estate has undergone a transformation—but its dramatic history still echoes through its walls.

The buzz around the villa resurged following Royal Challengers Bangalore’s historic IPL 2025 win, a team originally owned by Mallya. As media attention revisited the embattled tycoon, Kingfisher Villa re-entered the public eye. Once the epicenter of Mallya’s “Good Times,” the property became a financial asset seized by banks after his alleged Rs 900 crore loan default. In 2017, after three failed auctions, Sachiin Joshi purchased the villa for Rs 73.01 crore, just under the revised reserve price, from a consortium led by the State Bank of India.
Spanning over 12,000 square feet on a three-acre property, King’s Mansion stands as a luxurious reminder of the past with a modern identity. The estate’s transition from Kingfisher Villa to King’s Mansion marks not only a change in ownership but a shift in narrative—from scandal and bankruptcy to revival and glamor. With Joshi and Sharma at the helm, the property now aims to write a new chapter in Goa’s luxury real estate scene.
