ejashwi Yadav Narrowly Escapes Convoy Accident in Bihar, 3 Security Personnel Injured
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav had a narrow escape late Friday night when a speeding truck crashed into his convoy on the national highway while returning from Madhepura to Patna. According to reports, the incident occurred around 1:30 am when Yadav had stopped for a tea break. As he and other leaders were stepping out of the car, the truck rammed into 2–3 escort vehicles, injuring three members of his security team. “I was just five feet away when it happened,” Yadav said, adding that the truck had passed the toll gate and immediate action must be taken against those responsible.

In response to the incident, Tejashwi Yadav launched a scathing attack on the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government, accusing it of failing to maintain law and order. “Criminals are running loose, and daily crimes are being reported with the police appearing helpless,” he told the media. Calling the state of governance “maha-jungle raj,” Yadav criticized the administration’s lack of accountability and inaction, especially in addressing serious crimes and public safety concerns.
RJD Leader Highlights Healthcare Collapse at AIIMS Patna and PMCH
Tejashwi also targeted the state’s crumbling healthcare infrastructure, specifically highlighting AIIMS Patna and PMCH. “Patients are not getting beds; their families are sleeping on roads,” he said after visiting AIIMS. He described scenes of disorganization and suffering, where people were pleading for basic care. “This is the reality of Bihar’s health system under this government. Instead of easing people’s pain, they are adding to it,” he said, calling out both the state and central governments for their neglect.
