A tragic incident unfolded near Patna railway station, where a six-year-old boy named Sunny, son of Prabhakar Mahoto, died after allegedly being beaten by his father inside a hotel room. The police were informed early Sunday morning and rushed the child to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, Sunny succumbed to his injuries.
According to Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Abhinav, the boy’s mother reported that a domestic dispute with her husband escalated on Saturday night. During the altercation, the father reportedly assaulted Sunny and threw him onto the hotel room floor. Following the incident, the father fled the scene and is currently absconding.
Authorities have registered a case and are actively investigating the matter. Efforts are underway to locate the father and bring him to justice, while officials continue to gather details surrounding the tragic event.
