The trailer for James Cameron’s upcoming film, Avatar: Fire and Ash, was exclusively shown in theaters alongside Fantastic Four: First Steps. However, shortly after the screening, the trailer was leaked online. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney had planned for the trailer to be seen only in cinemas, but unauthorized copies quickly spread across social media.

Efforts are underway to remove the leaked trailer from the internet, with many versions already taken down. A similar situation happened recently with Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey trailer, which was also released in theaters ahead of Jurassic Park Rebirth. Despite the removals, fan reactions to the Avatar trailer have been strong. One viewer described it as having “some of the most beautiful footage” they’d seen all year, highlighting intense scenes like fistfights inside volcanic eruptions and massive aerial battles. Another fan said the trailer shifted their feelings from “meh, more of the same” to “yup, another billion to James Cameron.”
The trailer takes viewers back to Pandora, introducing two new tribes: the Wind Traders and the Ash People. It features familiar characters like Sam Worthington’s Jake Sully, Zoe Saldana’s Neytiri, and their Na’vi family caught up in a fierce conflict with the Ash People. The return of Colonel Miles Quaritch is also shown. At one point, Jake warns Neytiri, “We cannot live like this,” before being captured.
