Rumors suggest that one reason for her departure was the denial of her request for an 8-hour work shift, as she is a new mother. Following this, Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced Animal actor Triptii Dimri as the female lead opposite Prabhas, sparking further conversations among industry insiders and fans.
Joining the ongoing debate, actor Rashmika Mandanna, who previously collaborated with Sandeep Reddy Vanga on the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal (2023), recently shared her perspective. In an interview with Mojo Story, Rashmika acknowledged the variety of opinions surrounding the topic and expressed understanding of the concerns raised. She stated, “It’s fair that you went and told your director, ‘Okay, this is the timeframe I want to work in. Can we do this?’” emphasizing the importance of clear communication between actors and directors regarding work hours.
Rashmika also highlighted that, while the debate is important, there are even more challenging situations in the industry. She pointed out that some artists endure much harsher conditions, working for two to three days straight without going home or even taking a brief rest.
