Actor and Security Team Listed in Charge Sheet

Police Findings and Legal Action
Investigators found several errors in the theatre’s crowd management plan. They said the staff failed to control the heavy rush of fans and did not place enough security personnel at the venue. The police arrested Allu Arjun on December 13, 2024, after initial inquiries. The Telangana High Court granted him interim bail the next day and later approved his regular bail. Based on a complaint filed by the victim’s family, the police also booked his security staff under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
How the Stampede Occurred
The stampede began when fans pushed toward the entrance as Allu Arjun reached the theatre for the premiere. Many people lost balance in the rush. The victim and her child were caught in the crowd movement. Her family blamed the theatre staff and the actor’s private security team for poor planning and limited safety arrangements. The police supported parts of this claim and pointed to missing barricades, poor coordination, and a lack of controlled entry points.

After the tragedy, Allu Arjun and the Pushpa 2 production team offered financial help to the family. The Telangana government also announced compensation. Even with this support, the legal case continues, and the court will now examine evidence from the charge sheet.
