Ajit Pawar’s Chartered Plane Crashes While Landing in Baramati

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Nationalist Congress Party leader Ajit Pawar faced a major scare on Wednesday morning after his aircraft crashed during landing in Baramati. Pawar had left Mumbai early to visit his hometown, where he planned to address four public meetings ahead of the Zilla Parishad elections. The incident occurred moments before the aircraft completed its landing at Baramati airport, triggering immediate concern among officials and supporters.

Six People Onboard, Including Security Staff

Reports indicate that six people, including Ajit Pawar and his security personnel, were onboard the aircraft. The plane was a Lear Jet 45, chartered from Mumbai for the political visit. As the aircraft approached the runway, it lost alignment and moved towards the side. Airport authorities rushed emergency teams to the spot as soon as the incident occurred. Officials secured the area to prevent further risk and ensure safety.
