Bollywood newcomer Shanaya Kapoor’s debut film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, co-starring Vikrant Massey, has had a modest performance at the box office during its opening weekend. Released on Friday, the romantic drama has earned approximately ₹1.2 crore (India net) over its first three days, reflecting a lukewarm response from audiences.
According to Sacnilk data, the film collected ₹0.30 crore on its opening day and ₹0.49 crore on Saturday, showing a slight upward trend. On Sunday, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan added around ₹0.41 crore, bringing its total opening weekend collection to about ₹1.2 crore.
Occupancy rates for the film have been moderate, with Sunday seeing a slight improvement at 17.11% overall compared to Saturday’s 15.25% in Hindi circuits. Morning shows had the lowest occupancy at 7.40%, while afternoon and evening shows performed better with 20.09% and 23.14% respectively. However, night shows recorded 0% occupancy, likely due to limited or canceled late-night screenings.
