Aamir Khan Slams Religious Intolerance, Targets Turkey in Aap Ki Adalat Interview.

During his powerful appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, Aamir Khan condemned religion-based attacks and strongly criticized communal violence in India. He questioned the morality of targeting innocent citizens based on their faith, saying, “You are shooting at common citizens, you are shooting at families. I could have been there, you could have been there. And you are targeting them for their religion — what does this mean?” Aamir Khan emphasized that he has consistently spoken against such incidents and believes these attacks are not just on individuals but on the very unity of the nation.

Addressing questions about his support for the Indian armed forces, Aamir Khan clarified that his stance had nothing to do with film promotions. “The brave response of our soldiers deserves recognition. If I speak in their support, is that wrong? Should I think about my upcoming film or stand with my country? I can’t stay silent at such a time just because a movie is releasing,” he said. This statement came amid growing speculation that his comments were strategically timed ahead of his new movie.

When asked about the timing of the Sitaare Zameen Par trailer release, Aamir Khan dismissed promotional motives, explaining it was postponed due to national events. “Rajat ji, the trailer was scheduled much earlier but I cancelled it after the attack on our country. Even the Andaz Apna Apna premiere was cancelled in respect,” he noted. This clarification from the Bollywood star aimed to dispel any assumptions linking his patriotic statements to marketing strategies.
