Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor opened up about his early days in the film industry and shared a heartfelt tribute to superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Speaking on the Raj Shamani podcast, Arjun reminisced about his time as an assistant director on the sets of Kal Ho Naa Ho, where he had the chance to closely observe Shah Rukh Khan. “I was completely enamoured by him. Some people are touched by the divine—he transcends generations. His intelligence, emotional depth, and human compassion are so advanced, I truly think he’s ahead of artificial intelligence,” Arjun said.

Arjun highlighted SRK’s emotional empathy, shaped by personal tragedies like the loss of his parents, and how it influences his interactions. “Even on a film set, he treats you with respect. He reads a lot, he’s always learning, and everything he says comes from a place of deep understanding,” Arjun said. He also admired Khan’s awareness and ability to be fully present in a conversation: “He looks you in the eye, engages with you completely, yet he’s so aware of everything else happening around him. That combination is rare.”
Continuing his praise, Arjun spoke about Shah Rukh Khan’s humility and accessibility. “Even today, if I message him, he replies. Despite his global stardom, he maintains personal warmth. He’s Shah Rukh Khan, but he never lets you feel the gap. He connects with your soul when he speaks,” Arjun shared. Calling him “timeless and larger-than-life,” Arjun emphasized that every interaction with SRK leaves a lasting impact, making him truly one of a kind in the film industry.
