The Assam CID has arrested five people, including Zubeen Garg’s cousin and police officer Sandipan Garg, in connection with the singer’s death in Singapore.
Others held include festival organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta, Garg’s manager Siddharth Sharma, bandmate Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, and singer Amritprava Mahanta.
CID has added murder charges after interrogation, also probing financial irregularities linked to Mahanta. Central agencies like ED and IT may step in.
