Sanjay Dutt recently opened up about one of the scariest moments of his prison life while appearing on The Great Indian Kapil Show with his close friend Suniel Shetty. The 66-year-old actor revisited a dark chapter from his years behind bars following his conviction under the Arms Act related to the 1993 Mumbai blasts. He recalled a chilling encounter when jail officials asked him to shave his overgrown beard. Instead of assigning a barber, they handed the task to another inmate—a man serving time for double murder—who was given a razor and asked to shave him.
As the inmate, Mishra, held a razor to his neck, Sanjay casually asked about his sentence. When Mishra replied “double murder,” Sanjay froze and quickly stopped his hand, realizing the danger.
Though the incident left him shaken, Sanjay shared that he has no regrets in life except losing his parents early. He deeply misses his father, Sunil Dutt, and his mother, Nargis, who passed before his debut.

Convicted for illegal possession of arms, Sanjay served five years at Yerwada Jail. His sentence was shortened for good behavior, during which he even hosted a prison radio show to inspire fellow inmates.
On the film front, Sanjay stars in Baaghi 4 with Tiger Shroff and others. He will next be seen in The Raja Saab with Prabhas in October, followed by Dhurandar with Ranveer Singh and R. Madhavan in December.
