At a rally in Motihari, Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stepped up his criticism of the RJD, particularly over the “land-for-jobs” scam linked to Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family. He said only the NDA is capable of providing honest governance and real opportunities for people. Later, in West Bengal’s Durgapur, Modi took on the Trinamool Congress, accusing it of indulging in appeasement and vote-bank politics by supporting illegal infiltration from Bangladesh. He warned that such actions threaten both Bengal’s cultural identity and the country’s security.

Modi also announced a major initiative worth ₹1 lakh crore aimed at helping young people land their first jobs. Starting August 1, those getting their first appointment in a private company will receive ₹15,000 from the central government. He also spoke about the Mudra scheme, which supports self-employment, noting that in just the past two months, lakhs of loans have been handed out in Bihar.
The Prime Minister said that the problem of naxalism, which once affected districts like Champaran, Aurangabad, Gaya, and Jamui, has weakened significantly and will soon come to an end. He also highlighted the PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana, which will identify 100 of the most backward agricultural districts and provide them with targeted support to uplift farmers and weaker communities.
