Google has officially expanded its AI Mode in Search to all users across India, following a successful experimental launch as part of Google Labs. Initially available only in English and requiring a sign-up, the feature now offers AI-powered, nuanced responses to a wide range of queries without any registration. This allows users to explore complex topics, receive detailed explanations, and learn step-by-step instructions more effectively.

The company reported positive feedback during the experimental phase, highlighting user appreciation for the speed and quality of AI-generated answers. With the broader rollout, AI Mode will appear directly in the Google Search interface and the search bar within the Google app, accessible to all users in India. For now, the feature supports English language queries.
Users can interact with AI Mode through voice or text input and can also use Google Lens to submit photos for enhanced, context-aware responses with attributed links. Additionally, AI Mode supports follow-up questions by remembering the context of previous interactions, making the search experience more conversational and personalized.
