Sara Ali Khan’s aunt, Saba Ali Khan, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram to mark the release of Sara’s film Metro In Dino this Friday. Along with heartfelt words, Saba posted several childhood photos of Sara, including moments with herself, Sara’s brother Ibrahim Ali Khan, and their grandmother Sharmila Tagore. The pictures capture Sara’s journey growing up, from babysitting days to recent promotional events, highlighting the close-knit family bond.

In her message, Saba expressed her wish to have been part of Sara’s journey, recalling tender moments like holding Sara in her lap and watching her grow. She also mentioned Sara’s protective relationship with her brother Ibrahim, affectionately called Iggy, and their shared family ties. Saba’s note reflected pride and love for Sara, accompanied by nostalgic memories with their grandmother, and a reminder to keep shining.
Sara currently stars in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino, which features an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film explores four distinct love stories involving couples of different ages young, middle-aged, and elderly living in a metro city. It serves as the spiritual sequel to Basu’s 2007 film Life in a Metro.
