Shefali Jariwala, known for her work in “Kaanta Laga” and “Bigg Boss 13,” tragically passed away at the age of 42 on Friday night due to a cardiac arrest. Her final rites were held in Mumbai on Saturday, attended by friends and family who came to pay their respects. However, the presence of paparazzi during this sensitive time drew significant criticism, as they were seen closely capturing the grief of Shefali’s loved ones. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, was visibly distressed and pleaded with the media to respect their privacy

As Parag and Shefali’s relatives arrived at Cooper Hospital to offer condolences, the paparazzi continued to document every moment, including a heartbreaking video of Shefali’s mother mourning the loss of her daughter. Parag was seen asking the media to refrain from recording him, requesting them to allow him space as he dealt with the aftermath of his wife’s untimely death.

After the last rites, Parag once again appealed to the paparazzi with folded hands, asking them to remember Shefali in their prayers. He urged, “Mazak, drama mat banaiyega, main sabse request karta hoon” (I request everyone not to turn this into a drama). He implored people to pray for his “pari” (angel) and her peace, emphasizing the need for compassion during such a difficult time.
