Actor Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram Stories on Thursday to address and refute a viral quote falsely attributed to her regarding marriage and virginity. The widely circulated post claimed she advised men not to look for a virgin wife, stating, “Virginity ends in one night but manners last forever.” Clarifying the misinformation, Priyanka reposted the link containing the fake quote and firmly stated, “This is not me, my quote, or my voice. Just because it’s online, doesn’t make it true.”

Calling out the fabrication, Priyanka emphasized how easily fake content can go viral in today’s digital age. She expressed concern over the misuse of her name and voice, pointing out that the quote was entirely fabricated. “Creating fake content is now an easy way to achieve virality,” she wrote, highlighting the growing issue of misinformation being spread under the guise of celebrity opinions.

Priyanka also urged her followers to be vigilant while consuming content online. She advised users not to believe everything they come across on the internet, especially when the sources lack credibility. “None of the links or ‘sources’ attached to this claim, or many others online, are real or credible. Take a minute to cross-check such content and don’t believe everything you scroll past. Stay safe online,” she added.
